The play harbors some intelligent comedy depicting a turbulent friendship among people of the upper class society. Kit and Milly are booming authors. Kit gets involved with a younger man, while Milly, who is a divorcee, is overly dedicated to rearing her teenage daughter. “Old Acquaintance” Broadway show also stars Stephen Bogardus in the role of Preston Drake, Diane Davis in the role of Dierdre Drake, Cynthia Darlow as Susan, Corey Stoll as Rudd Kendall, and Gordana Rashovich in the role of Karina.
