Since 1972, “Grease” has set millions of hearts on fire with its rock and roll music. It has become a classic teen story and has been ranked at the top of the “100 Greatest Musicals” of Channel 4.

The Grease Fever Houses are full. The stage is set. Be ready for the grand rock ‘n’ roll party of this season! “Grease” needs no further description. What more can you say for a musical that has run house full for six whole years throughout America and outside?

The D-day Guys, get ready for July 25, 2007. The hot spot is Piccadilly Theater. This teen musical will rock you! Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, the writers of “Grease” are going to conduct a press night on August 8. The night will glitter with the winners of Saturday night cliff-hanger named GREASE IS THE WORD shown on ITV.

The Love Story Two teens lock themselves in a romantic affair after which the boy shows his true colors. Will the girl accept her “new” lover? The story revolves around the pop culture of 1950’s when rock ‘n’ roll music was struggling to steal the limelight amidst the domination of traditional music forms.

The character Danny Zucko in “Grease” has oodles of sex appeal. He is one popular guy who can woo any lady he desires right into his bed. For him, high school is more than a place to flirt with the hot ‘chicks’, puff cigarettes, and have fun, rather than study. The story takes a twist when a beautiful and virtuous young girl called Sandy enters the scene. Danny is smitten by her and wants her badly.

The chase creates many sizzling song and dance numbers composed by Jacobs and Casey. Some of the memorable ones are ‘Grease is the word’, ‘Hopelessly devoted’, ‘You’re the one that I want’, and ‘Greased lightnin’. Glossy hairstyles, high adrenalin, denim dudes, and a flavor of teen life is what you are going to get in this musical. And yes, the musical numbers are so melodious and foot-tapping that they are even going to make your granny dance at her feet!

It’s one of the most wonderful and entertaining family shows that’s going to end you up in high spirits.
