Opening at the Minskoff February 26 2004 a popular musical revival comedy on Broadway, the schedule is set to run through January 8, 2006.

The Imperial is located southwest corner of West 45th Street & 7th Avenue. Enter from a covered alley between West 44th & 45th Streets.

The productions story focuses on the family of Tevye, a milkman who has a heritage rich in tradition. When the families daughters begin to stray away from the traditions of the family, looking for something new and different, in a world which is changing around them, the family finds themselves separating from the traditions which they held onto for so long.

Based on the stories of Sholom Aleichem, and originally appeared in 1964, the audience is treated to memorable songs such as "If I were a Rich Man", and "Matchmaker, Matchmaker". Fiddler On The Roof was a huge international hit. Nominated for four Tony awards in 2004. With music by Jerry Bock and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, directed by David Leveaux. Starring Harvey Fierstein as Tevye the father of the family.
